About the Tuner
New to the profession of piano tuning, Jesse Mathews is currently working toward piano technician certification through the Piano Technicians Guild's PACE program. In the meantime, he is available to provide quality and affordable rate tunings across the Front Range, and as far east along I-80 as Lincoln/Omaha, Nebraska. In his first year as a tuner, numerous clients have been highly satisfied with his work in homes, studios, and venues. With a meticulous level of precision and stability, he has tuned a range of instruments from Yamaha and Kawai baby grands to heavilyly played music studio uprights to old consoles and spinets that have been neglected for decades.
Jesse holds a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado and is an active musician across the Front Range on trumpet and piano. Previous to pursuing piano technician certification, he has worked in a variety of musical and educational settings, including teaching music in public schools for 12 years.
